To achieve SBTi target of reducing CO2 emissions by 63% compared to FY2021 levels by FY2035, Colcoat has installed and begun operating solar panel generation equipment at Building H of the Saitama Plant 1 site.

Utilizing an on-site PPA service provided by The Kansai Electric Power Co.,Inc . the generated electricity, capacity of 252.84kw, will be consumed internally at the Watariyanagi Plant on the Saitama Plant 1 site. This will cover approximately 24% of the Watariyanagi Plant’s total power consumption.
